Malta is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, to the south of Italy and to the right of Spain.

The Belize City is the most poblated city of Belize, it has a lot of Mayas deposits and it has great number the islands in the Caribbean Sea. It is important for The Blue Hole, it measures 121m to depth and 304m to width. In this hole there are a seven species of the sharks and thisplace is located in the Reef Lighthouse.

Jamaica is an island that is in located in the Caribbean Sea,as capital is Kingston. On this island more than two million people speak English, because of the English army colonized it in 1955 and they rule there during 200 years; in this two hundred years Jamaica was the best sugar-exporting and Jamaican people could abolish the slave-trade.

The 6 of august from 1962 Jamaican citizen got the independence from the UK, and in this moment they passed to be a province of the West Indies Federation.

Jamaica is known for its rich culture and music, which have made the island famous around the world, as in this countrie was born a lot of music types as ragga or Ska. But without question Jamaica is famous for reggae music and Rastafarian culture, and specially for Bob Marley's songs and his life style.

The Rastafarian have their own religion, this religion came from Ethiopia. You can distinguish Rastafarian from the other people because the most of them have dreadlocks because they try to simulate the hair of the lion from the Ethiopia´s flag,in his heads they wear tams, that are handmade hats their most common clothes are wide trousers and comfortable clothes made from plant fibers. All his clothes have this three colors:Yellow,green and red. Because these three colors are the colors of Ethiopia´s flag.

The best ambassador of this religion was the singer Bob Marley who brought this religion worldwide with his songs and his guitar. We can see in this photo of Bob marley the dreadloks in his head and the t-shirt with the colours of Etiophia´s flag.

Now jamaica it's one of the most popular places to visit, maybe his beachs are very beautiful or because Jamaica haves one of the most interesant cultures, the rastafarian, the culture of one of the best singers in the history Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley).

If we go to Jamaica there are two sites that we mus visit:

-Montego Bay, that is a city in the northwest of the island and is the second most important city after the capital (Kingston).

-The waterfalls of Dunn´s river that is in the city of "Ocho Rios".

Australia is a big island in the Southern Hemisphere. The capital of this country is Camberra. The population is 22 million, with approximately 60% concentrated in and around the mainland state capitals of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
The official language is English because, the British Empire arrived the island around 1850.
Australia has six states, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia.

Interesting thinks of Autralia.

The typical foods are some special sausages, the Cabanossi, and the barbecues with meat, for example cocodrile, kangaroo, buffalo.
The typical sweet is Pavlova. This is a cake with cream and many fruits, for example, stramberrys, pineapple, kiwi…
The typical sports are, basketball, rugby and surfing.
The most popular famous of Australia is Kiylie Minogue, because, she is a singer and an actress. She was born 28 May 1968 in Melbourne.
She is a popstar. She sells many CDs and she is very known in Australia and the World.
Australia is very known in the World because the kangaroos and the bay of Sydney, for the theater and the fishing port.
In my opinion Australia is a very beautiful country, because of its beaches, cities and in general because its culture.
When I wiil grow big, I want go to Australia because it is the best country in the Pacific Ocean.

NEW ZEALAND

WHY PEOPLE SPEAK ENGLISH IN NEW ZEALAND?

In New Zealand people speak English because in 1769 James Cook did several reconnaissances of New Zealand island’s. Later, this country was conquered by the European whalers. Due to this fact, New Zealan was a English colony until the 26th September 1907. Nowadays people speak English and Maori.

New Zealand is a wonderful country and I want to speak about the scenics arts, specifically, the kapa haka.


WHAT IS THE KAPA HAKA?

This term comes from the words kapa that means row and haka refers to a maori dance. The Kapa haka are the traditonal scenics arts of the maoris and this is their way to express their patrimony and cultural identity by means of the dance and the singing. This genre was created before the european conquest due to the influence of collection of daily maori activities although the actual genre is the result of European and Maori combination.

A kapa haka performance includes singing, dance and hand’s movements practiced by the ancient maoris. The performance needs synchronisation of action, timing, posture, footwork and sound.

The music and dance typical styles are used by kapa haka are:

-Tira waiata Whakaeke

-Haka Waiata-ā-ringa

-Poi torea Titi

-Pou o mōteatea Whakawātea

In these performances are used balls, ropes and sticks. The instruments that people used in this performance are guitars, the pütatara conch shell and body percussion. Finally, kapa haka is practiced by big groups dressed in neo-traditional Maori dress.

MADAGASCAR

INTRODUCTION:

Its real name is Democratic Republic of Madagascar. The Capital is Antananarivo.

Madagascar it’s the fourth biggest island in the world.

WHY IN MADAGAR SPEAK ENGLISH AND FRENCH?

The oficial lenguaje of Madagascar is Malgache, but they also speak French, since Madagascar was Ander French control as a colony since 1896 until 1946 when Madagascar became independent and in 1960 it wassn’t a colony any more.

In 1942, Britain took control of the island to Project from Japan but one year later it was given to France again.

AGRICULTURE AND GASTRONOMY OF MADAGASCAR:

It´s mainly an agricultural country. They export Vanilla, coffee, cocoa and cinnamon.

Their Gastronomy is based on rice, mixed with different kinas of meat and Vegetables served very hot and spicy.

THE WEATHER:

There are two seassons, fron May to October is winter and it’s very dry fron November to April it’s summer and it’s very rainy with storms in the evening and risk of cyclons on the coast.

There are several Irish musical genres such as Irish giga, a very lively rhythm of dance that is played with a bagpipe, a violin, or Irish reel; It is an ancient and traditional dance where dancers dance very quick. There are modern musical genres of Ireland too that combine traditional rhythms with modern rhytms. “Altan”, “Christy Moore”, “Mary Black”, “Enya” or “Celtic Woman” are very famous Irish musical groups and singers that combine both styles. Ireland has produced singers in other musical genres like “U2”, a very successful group in all the world.

Canada

Canada is a country located in North America. It extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the west and north to the Arctic Ocean, sharing a border with the United States of America to the south and northwest.

English won the war. So people from Canada speak French and English. Nowadays, Canada is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy with the Queen Elizabeth as the head of the state.
PLACES TO VISIT:

Niagara Falls They are huge waterfalls in the state of Ontario in the frontier between Canada and the USA. They are 147 km long. They are divided in two parts. In the middle, we can find the Goat Island. On the one hand, we can see de Horseshoe Falls in Canada territory and on the other hand, we can visit the American falls in the USA part. In the Canada side we can visit Queen Victoria Park.

Toronto Tower CN tower is the symbol of Canada. It is situated in Toronto, capital of Canada. It is 553 meters tall. Tourists from around the world visit CN Tower every year. It was built in 1975 and during 31 years it was the highest building around the world. Canada wonderland It is a funfair in Toronto area. The park is opened from May to October. It is known as Paramount Canada Wonderland. There are 200 rides.

INDIA

This country is situated in South Asia, it is the seventh largest country in the world with a population of over1.18 billion of people. It is a republic. And it is the second most populated country after China.

From the 16^th century, the United Kingdom established trade with India. In 1856 the British East Indian Company controlled much of the territory. One year later rebellions nationwide started. As result, British powers answered with military oppression. At the end India was under the rule of the British Crown. This is the reason why English is spoken in India nowadays.

Culture:

The Indian society is divided into casts. This means if a person is born in a cast he or she belongs to this cast forever. Only people of the same cast can get married people from that particular cast. Marriages in India are arranged. That is parents look for a groom or bride for their children. They get married at a very young age. A lot of girls get married before 18.

Places to visit:

Taj Mahal

In 1631, Shah Jahan, considering the death of his third wife after giving birth his forthteen son decided to build a mausoleum to his wife. This was a sign of love for his wife. This is situated in Agra. It was completed in 1848 and the surrounding buildings and garden was finish five years later. In 1983 the Taj Mahal became UNESCO World Heritage. Nowadays it is the most turistic places in india.

I have chosen this country because this is an interesting place to visit. Moreover, its culture is different and I like its customs and traditions.

Malta

Its capital is la Valletta and the largest city is Birkirkara. Maltese is the national language and a co-official language , alongside English.

English is spoken in Malta because in 1814, as part of The Treaty of Paris, Malta officially became a part of the British Empire and was used as a very important commerce point due to its position half-way between the Strait of Gibraltar and the Suez Canal.

Malta is known for its world heritage sites most prominently the Megalithic temples which are the oldest free-standing structures in Europe.

AUSTRALIA

Australia officially the Common Wealth of Australia is a country in the southern hemisphere comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands in the Indian and Pacific oceans. It limits with a lot of countries: Indonesia, East Timor, and Papua New Guinea to the north, the Solomon islands, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia to the northeast, and New Zealand to the southeast.

Australia is a prosperous developed country with a multicultural society. It is a member of the United Nations, G20, Commonwealth of Nations, OECD, APEC, Pacific Islands Forum and the World Trade Organization.

The most iconic animals in Australia are the Kangaroos. There are over 60 species of kangaroos. They live in all areas of Australia, from cold-climate areas and desert plains, to tropical rainforests and beaches. Kangaroos are herbivorous, eating a range of plants and, in some cases , fungi. Most are nocturnal but some are active in the early morning and late afternoon. Different kangaroo species live in a variety of habitats. All of them have powerful back legs with long feet.

Australia is a very good place to live.

The executive branch consists of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) is one of the most powerful institutions in government, as well as cabinet members, senators, federal court judges, heads of Crown corporations and government agencies and the governor general. The leader of the political party which has the second highest number of seats becomes the leader of the opposition and is part of an adversarial parliamentary system, the government intended to keep a constant check
