MADAGASCAR

INTRODUCTION:

Its real name is Democratic Republic of Madagascar. The Capital is Antananarivo.

Madagascar it’s the fourth biggest island in the world.

WHY IN MADAGAR SPEAK ENGLISH AND FRENCH?

The oficial lenguaje of Madagascar is Malgache, but they also speak French, since Madagascar was Ander French control as a colony since 1896 until 1946 when Madagascar became independent and in 1960 it wassn’t a colony any more.

In 1942, Britain took control of the island to Project from Japan but one year later it was given to France again.

AGRICULTURE AND GASTRONOMY OF MADAGASCAR:

It´s mainly an agricultural country. They export Vanilla, coffee, cocoa and cinnamon.

Their Gastronomy is based on rice, mixed with different kinas of meat and Vegetables served very hot and spicy.

THE WEATHER:

There are two seassons, fron May to October is winter and it’s very dry fron November to April it’s summer and it’s very rainy with storms in the evening and risk of cyclons on the coast.
